How To Make Vegetarian And Salty Fried Wontons

Wonton, also known as short, is a dish originating from China that has gradually become a familiar dish of Vietnamese people. Not only cooked by steaming method, but you can also try with frying method to try new sensations. Crispy crust, crab meat inside, cream cheese dipped in rich sauce will surely make you eat once you will not forget it.

How to make crispy wonton

Ingredients for making crispy wonton

  • 50g strabismus
  • 150g minced shrimp
  • 150g minced meat
  • 1 chicken egg
  • 2g seasoning seeds
  • 4g MSG
  • 2g sesame oil
  • 2g ground pepper
  • 2g salt
  • 4g sugar
  • 10g tapioca flour
  • 20g fat
  • Fish sauce
  • Green onions, coriander

Steps to make crispy wonton

Step 1: Prepare ingredients

– Green onions cleaned, washed, chopped white head, chopped onion leaves.

– Coriander washed, chopped.

Step 2: Make wonton filling

– Now, you take 50g wonton, 150g minced shrimp, 150g lean meat, 2g ground pepper, 2g seasoning, 4g monosodium glutamate, 4g sugar, 2g salt, 1 tablespoon fish sauce, 2g sesame oil mix well with together.

Then, add 5g minced cilantro, 10g onion head, 10g tapioca starch, mix well.

– Add 20g fat, 1 egg white and mix again.

Step 3: Pack wonton

– First, spread wonton leaves on a flat plate, most of the dough you leave on top or leave wonton leaves on hand. Then, put a teaspoon of filling in the center of the wonton leaves. Next, apply water to the edge of the wonton shell and fold it in half, gently rubbing the two edges together with your fingers.

– Note: When wrapping wonton, you should put the wonton shell in plastic wrap, take it out wherever you go.

Step 4: Fry wonton

– After wrapping, put the oil on the stove, heat it up, use medium heat and drop the wontons into deep-fry for about 5 minutes, then remove to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb oil.

  • 40 wonton shells
  • ½ bowl of steamed skinless green beans

  • 1 little cilantro

– Put 1 teaspoon of filling into the wonton shell, gather and paste with a little water mixed with tapioca flour. You should not make it too big, just make it more delicious. If you are skillful, you can arrange them into beautiful shapes at will.

Step 4: Fry wonton

– Prepare a pan of hot oil, pack the wontons and fry until golden crispy, then remove to a plate lined with absorbent paper.
